How to Volunteer

Anyone can volunteer to get involved in Antigua and Barbuda’s hosting of the historic 4th International Conference on Small Island Developing States (SIDS4).

It will be a unique opportunity for residents and citizens of our nation to help make a difference in the variety of issues facing SIDS that will hold the attention of hundreds of delegates attending the May 27 – 30 conference at the American University of Antigua.

Volunteering is an amazing experience as it opens numerous opportunities to network and grow your professional skills. For SIDS4 you will get the chance to help in the planning and coordination of an international conference, held once in every decade, and greet and interact with a cross section of people from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.

The opportunity will most certainly have a lasting and positive impact on your lives as you gain an inside track on what’s involved in dealing with major global issues and gain the type of experience that may very well be useful in furthering your ambitions.
